Bugfix - Crash during blue startup screen

A bugfix is available that solves a problem caused when upgrading older trials (1.0.208 and below) to paid subscriptions on newer installations (1.0.210 and above).
Description:
If a user installs an old version of the Desktop Edition software below version 1.0.208 and then attempts to install a paid version of the software with version number 1.0.210 or above, the version mismatch will cause a software error to occur. The error will occur when starting the software for the first time, and the blue startup screen is displayed. The program will appear to freeze, then crash.
Fix:
An immediate bugfix is available from version 1.0.270 and all affected subscribers are encouraged to upgrade to fix the problem. The bugfix is available to registered subscribers from their Downloads/Updates page after logging in.
Note to trial users:
You should uninstall your trial version before downloading and installing the full version.
